Ingredients
Miso Soup
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup bonito flakes
- 1 packet miso
- green onions
Stir Fry
- 2 pork chops – trimmed of fat and thinly sliced
- 1 bunch broccolini – chopped
- 1-2 ramen cakes
- 2 oranges – zested and juiced
- 1 clove garlic – minced
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed oil
- 1 tsp vegetable oil

Directions – Miso Soup
Combine water and bonito flakes. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30-45 minutes to make a fish stock. Strain stock and discard bonito flakes. Add packet of miso to stock and simmer. Bowl and add chopped green onions.
***Optional – tofu, kombu, spinach, sliced mushrooms.
Directions – Stir Fry
Thinly slice pork chops, removing any fat, into bite sized ribbons. Combine soy sauce, the zest and juice of two oranges, 1 Tbsp. of sesame oil, mirin, and garlic. Marinate pork for at least 30 minutes.

Add remaining sesame oil and vegetable oil to your wok. Add pork, saving the marinade. Fry pork until cooked through and slightly crispy. Meanwhile, toss chopped broccolini into marinade. When pork is cooked through, add broccolini and marinade to the wok.

Toss until evenly mixed. Add dried ramen, tucking into the marinade until softened and cooked through. Toss to combine.
